Hubie G. Stephens, 71, joined his heavenly father on June 25, while in Freehold, NJ. 

He was born Sept. 21, 1942 in Sparta, Ga.  He was the son of the late Henry G. and Mary M. Stephens of Sparta, Ga. He is survived by his siblings Henry Stephens, Simpsonville, SC and Abigail Eaton, Old Bridge, NJ, his wife of 47 years, Sharon Stephens, sons Todd Stephens (Wendy) Phoenix, Az, Brian Stephens, Nashville; daughter, Cara Burgener (Bo) Olathe, Kan., four grandchildren, Natalie and Trevor Stephens; Avery and Ryder Burgener.

He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1966. He served 24 years in the military retiring as Lt. Commander from the US Public Health Service. He retired from the State of TN Air Quality Control after serving 20 + years. He loved to laugh, fish, garden, and sing in the choir. He volunteered for Habit for Humanity and various church activities. He was a life-long Christian and an active member of Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet.

Visitation was Tuesday, July 1, at Victory Baptist Church. Memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, at Victory Baptist Church.

Ann Williams Bronaugh Andrews, 60, Hermitage, died June 21. 

Andrews was a member of Providence United Methodist Church. She was an employee of the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Andrews was a member of the Friendship Quilters and an avid Titans fan. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Hutchcraft Bronaugh and her brother, John Bronaugh.

She is survived by: husband of 32 years, Glen Andrews; son, Ben Andrews; brother, Whit Bronaugh; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Thursday, June 26 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jacob Armstrong officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Whit Bronaugh, Russell Andrews, Joe Andrews, David Andrews, Bob Allen and Chris Christanson.

Bobby Lee Cloyd,  78, Hermitage, died June 16. 

Cloyd was a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church. He was the son of the late, Archie Lee and Thelma Lucille Richardson Cloyd. Mr. Cloyd was also preceded in death by five siblings.

He is survived by: wife of 52 years, Donna Gleaves Cloyd; son, Barry L. (Connie) Cloyd; brother, Larry (Faye) Cloyd; sisters, Shirley Loggins and Sandra (Kenneth) Fields; adopted sister-in-law, Tillie Baker; grandchildren, Claire E. Cloyd and Andrew L. Cloyd

Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, June 20 at Tulip Grove Baptist Church, 563 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with Rev. Jack Lewis and Rev. Larry Dearth officiating. Interment followed at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Doug Wills, Roy Woodard, M.C. Kent, David Donaldson, Steve Cloyd, Mike Cloyd, Johnathon Fields and Jason Fields. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Agape Sunday School Class and the Hardees Coffee Club. Visitation was Thursday at the funeral home an. until service time Friday at the church.

Connie Mack Crawley, Jr., 58, Mt. Juliet, died June 19.

Crawley was born in Chattanooga, and later moved to Niceville, Fla. He was a graduate of Niceville High School and attended Seminole State College He was a rigger for Certified Slings for a number of years. Crawley loved music including rock, soul, blues and jazz. He called himself DES after the song Desperado by the Eagles. He also enjoyed poetry and was very active on the internet. Crawley was the son of the late, Connie Crawley and Betty Jane Rogers Crawley.

He is survived by: brother, John Crawley; uncle, Julian Fred Crawley.

No services are planned at this time.

Carl Stevens, 49, Mt. Juliet passed away June 14. 

Stevens is survived by his daughters, Heather Adams and Chelsea Stevens; grandchildren, Kailynn Lyons and Brayden Adler; his faithful companion, Nash; and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tresha Steele Stevens.

A memorial service for Stevens will be held Saturday, June 28 at 4 p.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family will be from 2-4 pm  Saturday, June 28.
