Jimmy Wagner, Jr., 39, Nashville passed away Jan. 12. 

He is survived by: parents, Jimmy and Jan Wagner; sister, Jeannine (Shane) Konie; nephew, Logan Konie; grandmother, Garnet Suhs; uncles, Terry (Linda) Suhs and Darryl Pershell and numerous cousins.

Funeral services were Thursday, Jan. 15 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family was Thursday, Jan. 15.

William Steven Armistead, 67, Mt. Juliet, passed away Jan. 11, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. 

His funeral service will be held at Victory Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, Jan. 15, at 11 a.m., with visitation preceding the service from 9-11 a.m. Rev. Chuck Groover will officiate and his life-long friend Al Gore will deliver the eulogy. Visitation at Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon is Wednesday, Jan. 14 from 2-7 p.m. Active pallbearers:  Jimmy Herndon, Tim Smith, Sandy Armistead, Matthew Herndon, Michael Armistead, Brandon Rankin. Honorary pallbearers: Wilson Co. Road Commission, Sonja Robinson, the Honorable Al Gore, Danny Foutch, Roy Vaden, Jr., Larry Dickens, Billy Clark McKinney, Edd Blair, Gordon Thompson. At his request Steve will be cremated after his funeral service and later his cremains will be scattered on the Caney Fork River in Elmwood.

Born July 18, 1947, in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Roy Eugene Armistead, Sr. and Thomasene Ruth (Willey) Armistead. He was preceded in death by his brother David Armistead and sister Donna Rankin. 

He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Linda Armistead; daughter Stephanie Lynn McDonald (Michael) of Monroe, N.Y.; son Stephen Chadwick Armistead (Cathryn) of Mt. Juliet; grandchildren Morgan Capley, L.J. Fisher, Malia Fisher, Jacob Armistead, Joshua Armistead, Isabella Armistead; his sisters Sara Armistead and Carol Keegan (Frank) and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins, and dear friends. 

He was a devoted husband, father, and Christian and a member of Victory Baptist Church.  Raised in Elmwood, he was a 1965 graduate of Smith County High School, a talented athlete who especially loved basketball. He attended University of Maryland in Washington, D.C. and worked as an elevator operator in the Senate Office Building for the late Senator Albert Gore. He later attended Cumberland University in Lebanon. For many years he worked as area superintendent for Vulcan Materials and later for McDowell Enterprises in Georgia and Jones Bros. in Mt. Juliet before being appointed Wilson County Road Superintendent in August 1996. He loved politics on both the county and national level and was a past member of Mt. Juliet Rotary and First Baptist Church Mt. Juliet. The family requests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Victory Baptist Church Benevolence Fund or Alive Hospice.  Ligon & Bobo Funeral Home, Lebanon in charge of arrangements.

Bobby Harold Capers,  72, Mt. Juliet, died Jan. 10. 

The Honorable Bobby Capers was a retired Circuit Court Judge in the 15th Judicial District of Tennessee. Judge Capers attended Mt. Juliet Church of Christ, Hermitage United Methodist Church and First Baptist Church of Mt. Juliet. He was preceded in death by his precious mother, Jewel Presley Capers and his brother, Jimmy Thomas Capers.

He is survived by: wife of 53 years, Sherron Gale Duncan Capers; children, Bobby Harold (Brenda May Cleary) Capers, Jr., Christi Cara Capers, Kelli Dawn Capers (Ray Anthony “Tony”) Cook and Jeffre “Annie” (Chance, Sr.) Martin; brothers, John Taylor (Sandye) Capers and Luther Calvin (Ruby) Capers; sisters, Julianne Capers (Jim) Ostner and Linda “Nancy” Capers (Clyde) Johnson; grandchildren, Brandon Chance (Callie Rose) Martin, John-Michael Cook, Kristin Gale Cook, Chandler Harrison Solomon, Madeline Claire Capers and Anderson Gray Capers; great-grandchild, Troian Annalise Martin due in May 2015; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Brenda Oliver, Mary Gail Porter, Cindy Osborne, Dolores Fitzgerald, Marcus and Linda Cain, Joyce Spencer, Terri Carter, Juanita Hazelwood, Trish Medley, Carol Lawson and Steve Lawson in absentia; caregivers, Diana, Sarah, Laurie, Rosie and Ron.

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Victory Baptist Church, 1777 Tate Lane, Mt. Juliet, TN with Rev. Chuck Groover officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Margaret Ann Estes, 69, Lebanon, died Jan. 10. Margaret was the daughter of the late, Robert Russell and Ella Mae Crafton Bevel. She was also preceded in death by her longtime companion, Gaylord Hallmark.

She is survived by: sons, Jerry (Lisa) Williams and Robby (Sheila) Williams; brother, Larry (Kim) Bevel; grandchildren, Neil, Kelsey, Tony, Robby, Jr., Donna Dee, Joshua, Stephanie and Audrey; 15 great-grandchildren.

Visitation with the family is 2-4 p.m. Sunday Jan. 18, at Green Hill Church, 13251 Lebanon Road, Mt. Juliet, TN.

Jerry I. Hall, 71, Hermitage, died peacefully  Dec. 23, 2014 after a brief illness. 

Jerry was the son of the late, Ira and Jessie Mae Eckles Hall. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald G. Hall.

He is survived by: daughter, Stacie Hall (Dale) Neely; son, Jerry I. (Julie) Hall, Jr.; grandchildren, Sam Neely, Jack Neely, Conner Hall, Anastin Hall, Brynleigh Hall and Selah Hall.

A Celebration of Life service was Saturday, Jan. 10, at Bond Memorial Chapel. Friends and family then gathered at Oak Hill Baptist Church, 3035 Genesis Road, Crossville, TN and the interment followed at Crossville City Cemetery.
