James went to take a nap to dream of heaven and woke up there Dec. 8. 

James was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove United  Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet, Tn. and a loyal servant to his Lord. He was a delight to everyone  that knew him. He was kind to everyone and a  joy as he served the community touching the hearts of those he helped. He is survived by sister  “Dolly” Gloria Beery, nephew Shawn Singletary, nieces Summer Singletary, Rachel Talavera and  seven great  nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. A celebration  of life will be held on the date of his birth, Monday Dec. 29, at 7 p.m. at Pleasant Grove  United Methodist Church, 6485 Central Pike,  Mt. Juliet, Tn. 37122. Robert Woodrow Butner, 70, Mt. Juliet, died Dec. 15. 

Robert was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No. 572. He was the son of the late, Robert Woodrow and Katie Mae Hartman Butner.

He is survived by: wife of 14 years, Judy Butner; children, Chris (Mary) Butner, Casey Blalock and Cliff (Carman) Butner; step-children, Wendi (Rick) Brewer, Elizabeth (Alex) Standridge and Aaron Johnson; brother, Wayne (Barbara) Butner; sister, Cathy Talley; 13 grandchildren.

George Page, Sr., 82, Mt. Juliet passed away Dec. 17. 

Page was preceded in death by parents, Ryland and Mary Page; brother, Robert D. Page; and grandchildren, Justin Jones and Davin Jones. 

He is survived by: wife of 59 years, Mildred Goins Page; children, Gayle (Jimmy) Lackey, Cheryl (Andy) Jones, Melissa (Paul) Sokol, Christi Russell, George (Renee) Page, Dwayne (Dawn) Page, Donald Page and Dennis Page; brothers, David (Kathy) Page, Johnny Page, James (Carolyn) Page, Rufus Page, and Tom (Ruth) Page; sisters, Mary Page Gonzalez, Charlotte Thomson, Martha Dobbs, Faye Redden and Belinda (Larry) Weathers; grandchildren, Chris Lackey, Jennifer Smith, Kelly Jones, Amanda Bach, Abby Jones, Hollie Gregory, Michael Page, Cristal Bull, Natoashe Gardner, Amy Crutchfield, Justin Page, Brittany Page, Tiffany Page, Kaycie Vanzant and Kelsey Seibert; 30 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 20 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Rev. Danny Sellars officiating. Interment followed the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with George Page, Jr., Dwayne Page, Donald Page, Dennis Page, Chris Lackey, Michael Page, Jimmy Lackey, Andy Jones and Paul Sokol serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Nealon Agee, Bobby Butler, Gamaliel Crisostomo, Albert Denney, Larry Walker, and the Mt. Juliet Senior Citizens. 

Visitation with the family was Friday, Dec. 19 and Saturday, Dec. 20 until time of service.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Alive Hospice.

Cynthia McClure Gentry, 50, Mt. Juliet, died Dec. 11. 

Cynthia is preceded in death by her father, Donald Ray McClure. 

She is survived by: husband, Larry Gentry; mother, Patricia Currie; daughter, Larua Gentry; sisters, Dawn Machuta and Donna McClure; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were Monday, Dec. 15 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens.

Lee Willingham, 87, Lebanon, flew to his heavenly home Sunday, Dec. 14.  

The Funeral Service is Friday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m. in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Visitation is from 4 p.m. until the service Friday. Interment will be in Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta Ill.  

Willingham is preceded in death by wife: Kozle; mother and father, Eva and Grant Willingham; sisters, Marjean and Ester; and brother, Veron.  

He is survived by: brother, Bill; three daughters, Denyce, Paula, and Kelly; six grandchildren, Nelson, Ilene, Alisa, Jerris, Chelsey, and Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Nolan, Nicholas, Avery, and Alana.
