John C. Kinzer, 91, Lebanon passed away April 15. 

We celebrate the life of Jack Kinzer born March 28, 1922 in Versailles, Ky. He was preceded in death by wife of 50 years, Margaret Bahr Kinzer. He is survived by his daughter, Jan Calvert; grandsons, Alec and Craig; great-grandchildren, Jack, Ben, and Margaret; son, Bahr (Stuart) Kinzer; and brother, Carlyle (Barbara) Kinzer.

Jack proudly served his country as a member of the 35th Infantry Division in France and Germany during WWII. Following the war, he finished college and began his career managing Hereford Cattle Farms. He spent most of his career in Virginia. He was involved with the Fauquier 4H Livestock Show, the Ruritan Club and Leeds Episcopal Church.

A service celebrating his life was at the Church of the Epiphany, Lebanon, Friday, April 19, with visitation to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: The TN Library for the Blind, 403 7th Ave. N., Nashville, TN 37243, the Church of the Epiphany or WillowBrook Hospice in Hendersonville.

Larry Patton, 60, Mt. Juliet passed away April 19. 

He is preceded in death by father, Raymond Armstrong Patton. 

He is survived by:mother, Carolyn Patton; sisters, Elaine (Don) Skipworth and Lisa (Tim) McDonald; nieces and nephews, Mike (Karen) Bone, Cheryl Bone (Mark) Lively, Donna Skipworth (Billy) Ream, Troy (Allison) Skipworth, Blake McDonald and Shelby McDonald; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Patton Bone, Emerson Bone, and Rowan Skipworth.

Funeral services were Sunday, April 21 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment followed the service at Wilson County Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Sunday, April 21.

Arlene Prince, 95, Mt. Juliet passed away April 22. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Robert L. Freeman and husband, Wiley Prince; parents, James and Mary Emma Turner. 

She is survived by: son, Gary Freeman; daughter, Janice (Stanley) Dobson; brothers, Fred Turner and Eugene Turner; sister, Dorothy Livesay ; grandchildren, Melody (Kenneth) Shipley, Martin Freeman, Scott Dobson and Travis Dobson; great-grandchildren, Selby and Lucas.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 25 at 11 a.m. at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow the service at Smyrna Cemetery, Cookeville. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 24 from 4-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Thursday.

Claradell Lancaster Renfro, Nashville, died Monday, April 22. 

Renfro was a long-time active member of Jackson Park Church of Christ in Madison. She was the daughter of the late, Jesse and Pearl Curtis Lancaster. Mrs. Renfro was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Renfro and brother, Gene Lancaster. 

She is survived by: daughter, Teresa Williams; brother, Paul Lancaster; sisters, Ophelia Stubblefield and Lois Willis; grandchildren, Christopher Mahmoud, Ayman Mahmoud, Fatamah Atchley, Anbar Young, Dena Williams and Dean Williams; three Great-grandchildren; nieces, Becky Russell and Shelia McFarland; nephew, Jesse Chapman; several other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be conducted 10 p.m. Thursday, April 25 at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Earl Lee Roberson, April 15, 58, went to meet his Lord and Savior, after a long battle with cancer. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Allen Roberson and oldest son, Stephen Evans Roberson. 

He is survived by: his mother, Etta “Ann” Roberson; his Loving and Devoted wife of 40 years, Glenda Arlene Roberson; son, Robert “Alex” (Dawn) Roberson; daughter, Melonie Dawn Roberson; sister, Nancy Williams; the joys of his life, his grandchildren, Ronni Dick Roberson, Karlee Jade Waller, Kason Lee Roberson, Austin Gray and Misty Gray; great-grandchildren, Kylee Roark, Kaylee Roark, Kaelyn Roark and Bryson Gray; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. 

Any donations to help family with funeral expenses would be appreciated. A memorial service was Thursday, April 18 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. J. J. Dowlen officiating. Visitation with the family was Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18 until time of service.
