Margaret Ella Pippen Bishop Hamilton, 91, Mt. Juliet, died Wednesday, Aug. 7.  

Hamilton was a member of James Avenue Church of Christ. She was the daughter of the late, Earl J. and Mary Cherry Lepley Pippin. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Charles E. Bishop and Donald M. Hamilton and eight siblings.

She is survived by: daughter, Carole MacIntyre; sons, Charles E. Bishop, Jr. and David E. Bishop; brothers, Marion Pippin, Donald Pippin and Jimmy R. Pippin; grandchildren, Kimberly E. Smith, Leigh Ann St. Arnold, Erika Gallman,  Ian Bishop, Chad Bishop, Cameron Bishop, Melissa Houston, Melinda Griffith, and Jennifer Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jeremy, Caroleigh, and Hannah Smith, Shelby and Kaycee St. Arnold, Aubrey Bishop, Natalie, Lindsey, and Madison Ramsey, Jackson and Regan Gallman, Carl J. Houston, Jr. and Erica and Khalid Griffith.

Graveside services were. Saturday, Aug. 10,  at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Clay Harlan officiating.

Patricia Ann McClendon, 58, Mt. Juliet passed away Aug. 9. 

She is survived by: husband, Doug McClendon; parents, Robert and Geraldine Smith; son, Rod (Tammy) McClendon; daughter, Angela (Tony) Thomas; sister, Donna Smith; and grandchildren, Leeann McClendon, Hayley Thomas, Laura McClendon, and Austin McClendon.

Funeral services wre Monday, Aug. 12 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment followed the services at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Sunday, Aug. 11 and Monday, Aug. 12.

Lois Faye Clark Pate, 82, a resident of River Trace Nursing Center of Washington, NC died Saturday Aug. 10.

A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday August 14 at Oakdale Cemetery of Washington officiated by Steve Hill.

Pate was born in Robertson County Feb. 2, 1931 daughter of the late John Edwin Clark, Sr. and the late Robbie Harrison Clark.  She was a 1950 graduate of Springfield High School in Springfield and continued her education in Business College.  While living in Old Hickory, Pate was the owner-operator of a small Kennel which she provided many with a special pet.  She was a member of First Church of God in Mt. Juliet.

Pate is survived by:  son, Montgomery C. Pate and his wife Cynthia of Chocowinity; and two grandchildren, Alan Michael Pate of New York, NY and Stephanie Lynn Pate of Raleigh, NC.  Pate was predeceased by her parents and a brother: John E. Clark, Jr.

The family will receive friends at the home of her son located at 211 Harbour Drive, Chocowinity, NC.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks for memorial contributions to be made to the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center, c/o Patient Assistance Fund, 1209 Brown Street, Washington, NC 27889.

Edward Henry Stein,  65, Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Aug. 10. 

He was the son of the late, Edward Howard and Dorothy Gauthier Stein. 

He is survived by: wife of 40 years, Evelene Neal Stein; children, Joe Castilla and Tracy Wells; brother, Paul Wells; sister, Barbara Stein; grandchildren, Trey and Leigha Barrett; great-grandchild, McKinlee Barrett.

Services will be private.

Margie N. Voyles, 79, Hermitage passed away Aug. 7. 

She is preceded in death by husband, Roger C. Voyles. 

She is survived by: daughter, Donna (Don) Lounsbury; sons, Roger Voyles and David Voyles; sister, Patsy Sanders; grandchildren, Jared Lounsbury, Courtney (Brian) Moyle, Alexander Lounsbury and Sara Voyles; great-grandchildren, Mariah Voyles and Aubrey Moyle and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were Saturday, Aug. 10 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1004 Woodridge Place, Mt. Juliet. Visitation with the family was Friday, Aug. 9 at Sellars Funeral Home-Mt. Juliet. Inurnment will be Thursday, Aug. 15 at Live Oak Memorial Gardens, Charleston, SC.
