Willard Wilson Adams, 92, Hermitage passed away Jan. 2. 

He is preceded in death by: wife, Letha Louise Adams; parents, Minus Nathan and Lillian Elizabeth Adams; siblings, Elmo Adams, Odie Adams, Louis Adams, Wilburn Adams, Beulah Weatherly, Sadie Bultry, Jennie Adams and Genevieve Adams; grandsons, Jason Mills and Christopher Griffin. 

He is survived by:   daughters, Dorothy (Charlie) Reed, Belinda (Mike) Mills and Sue (Johnny) Griffin; siblings, Margie Wright and Johnnie Newcomb; grandchildren, Dawn (George) Garrett, Tammy (Donnie) Glover, Tracy (Craig) Straham, Laura Mills, Becky Mills, Elizabeth Mills, Christy Griffin and Kimberly Griffin; 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 5th at 11 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 3rd from 2-8 pm and Sunday, January 4th from 11am to 8 pm.

Carolyn Parker Cook, 81, Hermitage, died Friday, Jan. 2. 

Cook was a member of the Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was the daughter of the late, Thomas Alfred and Willie Bryan Parker. Mrs. Cook was also preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles Dee Cook; sister, Jessie Bilbrey and infant brother, T.A. Parker, Jr.

She is survived by: son, Lynn (Debbie) Cook; daughters, Patti (Phil) Baker and Sandi (Ed) Carter; sister, Gerry Parker; grandchildren, Scott (Courtney Wray) Baker, Cory (Tara) Baker, Chase (Cortney Michelle) Baker, Lyndsey (Eric) Kuhl, Clint (Gabby) Cook, McCall (Ryan) Lynch and Heather (Mike) Arbuckle; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Kaylen and Gavyn Baker; Caden, Cooper and Chloe Kuhl and Bryson and Kylie Arbuckle; beloved brother-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Monday, Jan. 5 at Lebanon Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 522 Castle Heights Avenue, Lebanon, TN with Rev. Kevin Medlin and Rev. Chase Baker officiating. Graveside services followed at Salem Cemetery in Liberty. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren served as pallbearers.

Albert Denney, 86, Mt. Juliet passed away Dec. 27, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Hershel and Goldie Denney; sister, Betty Vaughn; brothers, Dexter Denney and Jay Denney. Survived by wife, Genie Denney; sons, Mickey (Cindy) Denney and Paul Denney; daughter, Paulette (Don) Burnell; and four grandchildren. 

Funeral services were Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. Interment followed the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family was Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 and Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014 until time of service.

James William Henson,  91, Mt. Juliet, passed away Jan. 3. 

Henson served in the U.S Army during WWII.  He is preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Dorothy Henson; son, Jimmy Henson. 

He is survived by: his son, Don Henson (Maureen) and daughter, Joyce Henson; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.  

A Funeral service will be conducted 2:30 pm Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Hermitage Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Clara Mae Rice Sikes,  80, Mt. Juliet passed away Jan. 1. 

She is preceded in death by husband of 54 years, James Sikes; daughter, Lisa Casas; parents, Roy and Willie Rice, Sr. and brother, Roy Rice, Jr. 

She is survived by daughter, Trudie (Freddie) Weston, Jr.; brother, Oscar Dale (Naomi) Rice; grandchildren, Amber (Bobby O’Neal) Venable, Brooke (Jonathan) Hines and Ethan (Jessica) Weston; great-grandchildren, Weston James Hines and Pressley Merrill Hines.

Funeral services were Jan. 5 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro Wendell Moore officiating and Bro. Marion Caruthers assisting. Interment followed the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with her nephews, Jim Johnson, Michael Johnson, Terry Atkinson, Oscar Rice, Jr., Roy Rice and Jay Johnson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are: Staff and Residents at Emeritus/Brookdale Assisted Living. Visitation with the family was Sunday, Jan. 4 and Monday, Jan. 5 until time of service.
