Sandra Bohr, 71, Mt. Juliet passed away Oct. 26. 

She is survived by: sons, Herman Frederick “Rick” (Leslie) Bohr, IV and Casey Martin (Michelle) Bohr; daughter, Valerie Anna Bohr; and grandchildren, Ricky, Kayley, Peyton, Kennedy, Casey, Jr., Baylor, and Bryson. 

Memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Road, Old Hickory, TN with Father Pat Kibby officiating. Visitation with the family will be at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Bracy Clarence Mathis, 68, Dover, passed away, Friday, Oct. 26. 

The funeral service was noon Monday at Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church, burial followed at Grace Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Anglin Funeral Home and Monday until the time of service at Ft. Donelson Pentecostal Church. There was a remembrance service Sunday night at Anglin Funeral Home. 

He was born Oct. 20, 1944 in Stewart County, son of William Clarence and Lela McGovern Mathis.  Mathis is preceded in death by his father. 

He is survived by: his wife, Mary Beth Wortham Mathis, Dover; mother, Lela Mathis, Dover, daughters; Keron Tanaro, Sharon Glenn, Joy Neal, all of Mt. Juliet; brothers, Neal Mathis, Tom Mathis, Rick Mathis, Ronnie Mathis, grandchildren; Amanda Josh, Andrea, Ryan, Meleah, and great grandchildren, Caleb and Scarlett.

Page, Barbara Jean, 60, Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Oct. 20, from complications of ovarian cancer. Barbara was born Sept. 1, 1952 in Jersey City, NJ. She earned her Bachelors of Education from the University of Tennessee At Knoxville, Class of 1974. Barbara worked at Xerox for over 20 years, specializing in training and sales. She left Xerox to start a job in IT, testing new equipment at Deloitte and Touche. She was at Deloitte and Touche for over 10 years. Barbara enjoyed watching and playing all sports. She took particular enjoyment in watching University of Tennessee football and Lady Vols basketball. Barbara had a wonderful sense of humor and would laugh at her husband’s “jokes” most of the time. She loved walking trails and traveling. Most of all, she relished the time she was able to spend with family and friends. Her greatest joy was her first granddaughter, Lily Grace. Barbara was a wonderful wife, mother and friend to everyone she met. She brought so much joy to her family and friends. Words cannot describe the hole that will be left by her passing. She will be dearly missed. Three words sum up her life: Optimism, Bravery and Joy. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, John Davenport of Flemington, NJ.

Kenneth Warner Whaley,  83, Hermitage, died Monday, Oct. 22. 

Whaley was a member of Hickory Bend United Methodist Church. He earned his Master’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.  Whaley was head of the Milk and Water Laboratory for the State of Tennessee and wrote part of the procedures manual. He was a lifetime farmer. Mr. Whaley is the son of the late, William Rufus and Olive Louella Coker Whaley.

James F. Woodard, Lebanon, passed away Oct. 24,  at the age of 68. 

Woodard was preceded in death by parents, Tommy and Bessie Woodard; five brothers; and four sisters.
