Glenn Kemp, Sr., 92, Mt. Juliet passed away Jan. 30. 

He was on the motorcycle patrol with the THP, a member of the Confederate Air Force, an accomplished pilot and a member of the Central Pike church of Christ. Kemp was preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Dexter Kemp; and daughter, Elaine Scoby. 

He is survived by: wife of 72 years, Frances Kemp; children, Glenn Allen (Sandy) Kemp and Peggy (Mike) Buford; grandchildren, Billy (Michelle) Scoby, Kimberly (Scott) Howard, Kristy (Jay) Woodard, Alison (Brian) Hensley and John (Chelsea) Buford; and great-grandchildren, Max, Jake, Dakota and Trey Scoby  and Hannah and Heather Woodard.

Funeral services were Tuesday, Feb. 3 at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Bro. John Miller and Bro. Vernon Russell officiating. Interment followed the service at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with his grandsons serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family was Tuesday, Feb. 3 until time of service.

Rodney Ross Leavitt, 70, Old Hickory, died Jan. 27. 

Rod was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He previously had held management positions at McKendree and HCA. Rod was preceded in death by his father, Amil Ross Leavitt; son, James Ross “J.R.” Leavitt and brother, Lyle Leavitt.

He is survived by: wife of 46 years, Judy Leavitt; mother, Evelyn Leavitt; step-mother, Hazel Leavitt; daughters, Collette (Pedro) Rodriguez, Denise (Chris) Melvin and Jenifer (Dustin) Lambert; sisters, Darlene (Ronnie) Mitchell and Debbie (Monte) Davis; grandchildren, Tatiana (Glenn) Lopez, Salyssa Rodriguez, Jazmyn Rodriguez, Allison Sordelat, Madelyn Melvin, Elsie Lambert, Sylvia Lambert and Sydney Lambert; great-grandchild, Vincente “Vinny” Rodriguez; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 30, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Bro. Dustin Lambert officiating. Interment followed at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Active pallbearers wereChris Melvin, Dustin Lambert, Paul Hedges, Kent Rowe and Lon Ridpath.

She is survived by: husband of 54 years, James Page; children, Vicki Page, Ricky (Stephanie) Page, Belinda Blythe and Jeff (Beth) Page; sister, Nettie Sue Hinson; brothers, Frank (Faye) Holt and Ted (Maxine) Holt; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Danijela) Page, Marshal Page, Marilyn (Jason) Kaczmarski, Caleb (Chelsey) Page, Jackie (Andy) Driver, Hannah Page, Joshua Page, Jacob Page and Jesse Page; great-grandchildren, Mason Kaczmarski and Lila Jane Driver.

Quenton Pulliam, Jr., 68, Mt. Juliet, died Jan. 27. 

Pulliam was of the Christian faith. He was a professor at Nashville State Community College. Mr. Pulliam was the son of the late, Quenton Pulliam, Sr. and Helen Ann Lockhart Pulliam. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Scott Pulliam.

He is survived by: wife of 35 years, Brenda Tarkington Pulliam; children, Quenton Scott Pulliam, Justin Samuel (Heather) Pulliam, Hayden Marshall Pulliam and Samantha Slater(Danny) Smith; grandchildren, Cara Amberlee Pulliam (Trey) Hillyard, Grace Ann Pulliam, Jaxon Parker Pulliam, Madalynn Ann Pulliam, Samuel Jeffry Pulliam, Paislee Grace Pulliam, Anna Smith and Allison Smith; great-granddaughter, Embrylee Jade Hillyard.

Funeral services were Friday, Jan. 30, at Bond Memorial Chapel with Kelvin Elston officiating. Interment followed at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers were James Henry, Ronnie Pitts, Walter “Buster” Terry, Mark Devendorf, Dave Baka and Donald Thomas. Honorary pallbearers will Hayden Pulliam, Steve Shelton, Olin Harris, Clyde Mosely and James B. Stoval.
