Amos Hawkins Moss,  78, Mt. Juliet, died Thursday, Feb. 7. 

Moss was a member of the Mt. Juliet First Church of God. He was an avid DCA Athletics supporter and fan. Mr. Moss was the son of the late, Charlie B. and Elizabeth Eatherley Moss. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Moss and son, Phillip Dale Moss.

He is survived by: children, Charles (Debbie) Moss, Johnny Moss and Linda Moss; grandchildren, Samantha (Jason) Smith, Sydney (Jim) Seat, Billy Moss and Jessie (Steven) Like; great-grandchildren, Bailey Moss, Karaline Smith, Lila Kate Smith and Bryson Moss.    

Funeral services were Monday, Feb. 11 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Jon Green and Rich Tiner officiating. Interment followed at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Calvin Theiring, Joseph Theiring, Justin Theiring, Richie Bilbrey, Barton Hughes, and Glenn Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Donny Cook, Gary Frye, Raymond McDaniel and past and present DCA staff and students.

Louis Allen Thompson, 78, Old Hickory, passed away Feb. 9. 

A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he attended Victory Baptist Church and was an avid bass fisherman. 

He is survived by: his wife of over 40 years, Sara Tomlinson; sons, Jason Tomlinson (Erin) and Joseph Tomlinson; daughter, Jessica Tomlinson; grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Sara Katelyn Crabtree and Luke Allen Thompson; stepson, Dale Johnson (Sue); stepdaughter, Miki Johnson. 

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Hermitage Funeral Home with Pastor Chuck Groover officiating. Burial will follow in the Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 13 and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.

Ashley Elizabeth Oliver Wyks, 39, Mt. Juliet, died Saturday, Feb. 2. 

Ashley was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church, the Alpha Sigma Alpha Society and the Junior League of Nashville. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Oliver.

She is survived by: husband, Ken Wyks; daughters, Shelby, Savannah and Sierra Wyks; mother, Linda Oliver.

Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 7 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Rev. Allen Black officiating.
