There will be a benefit for the Avalyn Shaye Foundation Nov. 3 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Courtney’s Restaurant on Mt. Juliet Road. A portion of the proceeds from meal/beverage purchases will go toward foundation, as well as a few silent auction items. Donations happily accepted at the door.
