The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Old Hickory Lake Resource Office will collect natural Christmas trees (no artificial trees) for recycling Dec. 26 through Jan. 17. Christmas trees can be dropped off at the Rockland Recreation Area boat ramp or Shutes Branch boat ramp. The drop-off area will be roped-off near the entrance of the boat ramp. Please note that all ornaments, lights, and tinsel must be removed before drop-off.
