Kyle Hubbuch’s walk off home run lifted Central to a 7-6 win over Mt. Juliet Tuesday. 

Hubbuch was 3-for-4 with a double, the home run and two RBIs. 

Mt. Juliet bounced back with a 12-0 victory Wednesday on their home field. 

Central picked up a 5-0 victory over Station Camp Friday. 

Jared Williams and A.J. Franklin were both 2-for-3 with two RBIs.  

Mt. Juliet lost a close one to Riverdale Friday, 2-1. 

Central picked up another win Monday, this time over LaVergne, 4-3. 

The Wildcats got four runs on just two hits, both by Hubbuch.

Central, 10-9

Mt. Juliet travelled to cross-town rival Wilson Central Wednesday night in a District 9-AAA clash, with Mt. Juliet escaping with the 10-9 victory.  

Mt. Juliet jumped out to an early lead, scoring two runs in the top of the 1st inning.  Central responded with two of their own in the bottom half of the first.

Central held the Lady Bears scoreless in the second inning and blew things open with five runs to take a 7-2 lead after two innings. Lauren Stavinoga hit a grand slam in the inning, and Rachel Tichenor knocked in a run.

Mt. Juliet scored a run in the 3rd to bring the score to 7-3 before scoring four runs in the fourth after Central was able to get the first two batters out.  

Mt. Juliet added another run in the top of the fifth to take an 8-7 lead before Central regained the lead in their half of the fifth inning by scoring two runs of their own. 

Central held on to the lead until the top of the seventh inning when Emily Bombard hit her third double of the game. With two outs, senior Lauren Woodard drove the ball to the right field corner and came all the way around the bases when Central couldn’t get the ball in.  

Central was able to get runners on first and second in the bottom of the seventh before Woodard shut the door on the Lady Wildcats.

Mt. Juliet picked up another win Thursday against Gallatin, 14-4. 

Central lost to Lebanon, 5-1.
