An Overton goal in the second overtime Saturday ended Mt. Juliet’s postseason run. 

The Bears lost 2-1 to visiting Overton, who will move on to the Spring Fling. 

Mt. Juliet earned their way to the game by winning the Region 5-AAA title over Rossview Thursday, 3-1. 

Austin Coleman had a goal and an assist in the win. 

Cameron Woodfin and Tanner Dabell had the other goals. Chandler Bauer and Zack McGhee also had assists. 

Dylan Cole had eight saves in net. 

Saturday, the Bears season came to an end. 

They fought to the end, as the game went into two overtimes before Overton ended it with four minutes to go. 

Woodfin had the Bears only goal. 

Mt. Juliet held the lead until the Bobcats scored with 15 minutes to go in regulation. 

Dylan Cole had 14 saves in goal.
