CRYE-LEIKE HOSTS 13TH ANNUAL SWEET TOOTH AUCTION TO BENEFIT UNITED WAY

Real estate agents of Crye-Leike Real Estate Services’ Mt. Juliet branch office will be putting on their chef hats and baking up sweet treats to auction off at its 13th annual Martin Cummings’ Sweet Tooth Auction to benefit United Way of Wilson County.

As they do each year, Crye-Leike agents personally invite their clients, peers, friends, vendors and the public to join them for this fun and entertaining fundraiser.

This year’s auction will be held on Tues., October 4, 2016 at Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet branch office, located at 1285 North Mt. Juliet Road in Mt. Juliet, Tenn. The event will begin with a light breakfast being served at 9 a.m. with the auction following at 9:30 a.m.

Since 2004, Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet office has raised over $50,000 at their sweet tooth auctions with proceeds benefiting various local nonprofit agencies supported by United Way of Wilson County. This year’s proceeds will benefit Empower Me Day Camp and Mt. Juliet Senior Center, agencies of United Way of Wilson County, says event organizers.

“We hope the community will come join us and bid on delicious cakes, cookies, pies, gift baskets, and gift cards as they have for the past 13 years which is all for a good cause,” says Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet United Way Chair Joann Pucciarelli.

The auction is named in memory of the late Martin Cummings who was the first managing broker of Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet branch office and a devoted fund-raising volunteer in his community, raising over $1 million for numerous charities during his real estate career.

“Mr. Cummings set an example. He always stressed to us agents to give back to the communities we serve,” says Pucciarelli. “And that is just what we at Crye-Leike’s Mt. Juliet office continue to do each year to honor his memory.”

This fundraiser is one of many events being organized nationally in nine states by Crye-Leike’s 118 branch and franchise offices to raise funds for its 2016 United Way campaign.
