Three local providers have come together to keep our kids healthy.

On Wednesday, June 27 from 4 to 6 p.m., information and free screenings will be provided to children and their parents about important pediatric health matters.

The event, sponsored by Centennial Pediatrics, Optimal Health Chiropractic Center and Precision Eye Care, will have plenty of information and fun for kids.

“It’s awareness of what’s available,” said Dr. Amber Fritsch of Precision Eye Care.

Fritsch said there are plenty of preventive steps parents can take to keep their children healthy that they may not know. This event will cover a broad spectrum of what is out there.

Dr. Asha Joseph of Centennial Pediatrics, Dr. Fritsch, Snodgrass & King Dental, Tennessee Sports Medicine, Dr. Melissa Holland of Optimal Health Chiropractic, Dr. Cain with the Allergy, Asthma and Sinus Center, Thomas Vertees, Therapist MA, LPC-MHSP and Amerigroup, Americhoice will all be in attendance.

The Mt. Juliet Police Department and WEMA will be there answering questions, and the MJPD will be giving out packets for child identification.

In addition to the great information available, there will also be tons of fun. There will be entertainment, games and prizes. The grand prize will be a bicycle and helmet. You can get balloon animals from Anthony the Balloon Kid, jump in a bounce house and meet Chomp from Snodgrass & King Dental.

Door prizes are donated by: Universal Gymnastics, Portrait Innovations, Willie Nillie Kids, Books-A-Million, Reeves-Sain Medical, Centennial Pediatrics, Optimal Health Chiropractic, Precision Eye Care, Jonathan’s Grille, Pump It Up, Leadership Wilson Class of 2012, Fantastic Sam’s, Olive Garden and Buffalo Wild Wings.
