Courtyard by Marriott officially opens in Mt. Juliet
Local and state officials gathered with the Mt. Juliet Chamber and Wilson County Chamber of Commerce in welcoming the brand new Courtyard by Marriott hotel to Mt. Juliet on Thursday, November 17.
Mt. Juliet Chamber of Commerce President, Mark Hinesley, welcomed the new hotel to the city of Mt. Juliet along with Mt. Juliet Mayor, Ed Hagerty.
“The Courtyard by Marriott is the very first Marriott brand hotel to be constructed in Wilson County,” said MJ Chamber President, Mark Hinesley.
Mt. Juliet’s newly re-elected City Mayor, Ed Hagerty weighed in on the welcoming of the establishment.
“We are so happy to have this fantastic new hotel addition to our community. This hotel makes Mt. Juliet great,” said Mayor Hagerty humorously referencing to Donald Trump’s campaign slogan ‘Make America Great Again’.
State Senator and Mt. Juliet resident Mae Beavers welcomed and also spoke before the ribbon-cutting.
Wilson County Mayor, Randall Hutto, as well as many other local government officials and business owners were of attendance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
