Crime Stoppers seeks public’s assistance

The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the persons responsible for robbing two employees at a local Dollar General Store.

On Nov. 25, 2018, deputies were dispatched to the Dollar General Store, located at 10550 Murfreesboro Road, Lebanon, in reference to a robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victims who stated that they had just been robbed at gun point by three unidentified black male subjects.

One of the victims stated that the three suspects wearing ski masks approached him at the cash register. One of the suspects wearing a gray hoodie was holding a black hand gun and gave verbal commands to open the register while pointing the gun in his general direction. Another suspect in brown clothing was holding a black cloth bag while waiting to put money in the bag. The third suspect stood to the victim’s right holding a silver handgun toward him and awaited directions from the individual giving verbal commands.

An undisclosed amount of cash was taken by the suspects before they left the store. According to the report, the time of incident occurred between the business hours of 9:17-9:18 p.m.

The suspects left on foot in an unknown direction and it is believed that they parked an unknown vehicle in a nearby area close to the store and fled on foot to their vehicle.

Anyone with information which leads to the successful identification, prosecution, and conviction of the persons responsible in this incident could be entitled a cash reward of up to $500.
