Eat, Drink & Be Merry: Wendy’s

Kenny Howell

Managing Editor

If your kids like fun, then Wendy’s is the place for them.

Every Monday night from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wendy’s in Providence Marketplace has plenty of activities and fun for kids.

On Mondays, there is usually a craft that coordinates with what time of year it is.

Kids made Father’s Day cards last week, a few weeks ago they made Mother’s Day cards.

When Halloween rolls around, it will be revolved around that, as well as Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and other holidays.

Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny will also make an appearance around their holidays.

On Tuesdays, there will be balloons and face painting, and on Wednesday there is a magician.

If you have an idea of something you would like to see at the kids’ nights, find Wendy’s Mt. Juliet on Facebook.

You can suggest things on the page.

Wendy’s opened in September 2006, and has been supporting the community ever since.

Wendy’s supports the Mt. Juliet High School football team and band.

They were a part of the Taste of Mt. Juliet a few months ago and get in the Christmas Parade every year.

They are open to sponsoring events if you call or visit them at the restaurant.

McGruff, the Crime Dog and the Mt. Juliet Police Department will be visiting Sept. 17 from 5 to 8 p.m. for fingerprinting for identification purposes for parents of young children.

That is just one of many events that will be coming up this fall at Wendy’s.
