The first run of the game came on an error in the first inning, as Brock Fortner got the first run for the Bears.

White County tied it up in the top of the second, but Josh Gastley’s RBI single gave the lead back to Mt. Juliet in the bottom of the inning.

White County once again took the lead in the top of the third with two runs to take a 3-2 lead. However, an error in the bottom half scored Zach Ehrhart and tied the game back up.

Once again, White County got a run across in the fourth to go up 4-3. Following suit, the Bears got a run to tie it in the bottom of the fourth. Alex DeRiggi hit a sac fly to bring in Ehrhart and make it 4-4.

The game stayed tied until the bottom of the seventh when an error brought in Tyler Warmath to give the Bears the victory.
