Despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis, Mt. Juliet continues to rebuild after a tornado tore a path through the community on March 3, 2020.
Cleanup continues around the city. Many cubic yards of debris has already been cleared out. City Manager Kenny Martin said the city budgeted $2 million for cleanup, and they are already up to $500,000.
Martin said that cleanup is going well and will continue.
“We’re going to get our city back to where it needs to be,” said Martin.
