Mt. Juliet girls team competes along with eight area schools in Wilson Challenge Cup

Fifty high school golfers representing eight Middle Tennessee schools competed last week in the annual Wilson Challenge Cup at Five Oaks Golf and Country Club. Sponsored by Wilson Bank and Trust the tournament awarded trophies for individual and team scores. Mt. Juliet High School won first place team honors for both boys and girls divisions. Individual honors for first place were awarded to Mt. Juliet’s Cooper Sears, who shot a par 72 for the tournament, and in the girls division to Brooklyn Spicer of White House who posted a score of 82. Schools entering teams in the Challenge Cup included Lebanon, Mt. Juliet, Wilson Central, Friendship Christian, Watertown, White House, Monterey, & Mt. Juliet Christian. Girls – 1st Place Team Mt. Juliet, (180) Haylee Gold, Catlin Davis, Hannah Bowman.
