Runaway missing Mt. Juliet teen located in Sumner County

Detectives successfully located missing runaway teen, Luke Vogel, last Thursday afternoon in Sumner County after many concerned Mt. Juliet citizens took to social media and assisted in the successful search.
On Monday, December 26, Mt. Juliet teen, Luke Vogel, ran away from his mother while shopping in Providence that morning around 11am.
The mother frantically looked for her son for almost an hour until giving in to calling the Mt. Juliet Police Department for their assistance in helping her find her son.
Local authorities searched and investigated but Luke was not located until Thursday, December 29, after a tip from a citizen and their good investigative work led to the discovery of the runaway teen.
According to Mt. Juliet Police Department, the investigation revealed Luke ran from his mother in Providence Marketplace to a nearby hotel, where he was able to get a taxi to a Walmart in Sumner County.
Detectives reviewed surveillance video at multiple locations and eventually located Luke at an acquaintance of his.
